This is the first epilepsy awareness painting I ever did. I completed it on April 4th, 2015 on a 12 x 16 canvas which was a mistake?because when I decided I wanted to scan it in even office stores could not do it in one scan. It had to be scanned in two halves and pasted together, so I switched to 8 x 10 canvases after that. 



It shows the brain on a shield surrounded by the different treatments we use to defend it from the lightning blots of the seizures in the background. After I completed a few more paintings and can up with the idea of the awareness project, this painting was my inspiration for naming it The Epilepsy Shield Project.
